Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace. This is a pretty blossom necklace. A little shorter and a little smaller than my bigger ones. It's the perfect size to wear when you don't want a huge turquoise presence. A perfect grab-n-go type of necklace. The stones I have now are more of a beautiful turquoise blue color than green.

What is Turquoise Magnesite Natural Stone and why do I use it...
Magnesite is a beautiful gemstone that looks very similar to genuine Turquoise. When cut and polished into cabochons or beads it features a dark thread of veins or a web-like matrix across its surface, making it a beautiful gem to use as a substitute for real turquoise. Because this is a porous gem it can easily be dyed and polished to create bold and vibrant colors. It's often dyed to a light blue color and because of its matrix it resembles turquoise so closely many people cannot tell the difference.
Genuine turquoise has quadrupled in price in the last couple years and turquoise magnesite stone makes it possible for the rest of us to be able to afford a beautiful squash blossom, bracelet or earrings for a fraction of the cost.
