Full Squash Blossom Turquoise Necklace. Wow this is a beauty ladies. Really substantial piece. If you like to make a statement with your turquoise then this is the necklace for you. This particular Squash Blossom necklace has 5 Blossom flowers which go up the sides of the necklace between 2 strands of Western Pearls. The Naja crescent at the bottom is huge and surrounded by earth tone matrix throughout the Turquoise.

Stones vary in color and matrix. I have several pictures of different necklaces so you guys get a sense of how different the matrix is in each necklace though every one is unique and beautiful.

What is Turquoise Magnesite Natural Stone and why do I use it…

Magnesite is a beautiful gemstone that looks very similar to genuine Turquoise. When cut and polished into cabochons or beads it features a dark thread of veins or a web-like matrix across its surface, making it a beautiful gem to use as a substitute for real turquoise. Because this is a porous gem it can easily be dyed and polished to create bold and vibrant colors. It’s often dyed to a light blue color and because of its matrix it resembles turquoise so closely many people cannot tell the difference.
